Coaching

What is coaching?

Coaching is a process that aims to support you to improve performance or overcome a challenge. As your coach, I will support you to achieve you personal or professional goals by providing a safe space for you to explore and by using various tools and techniques that I have developed over my many years in learning.

The aim of coaching is to help you make meaningful change in your life. It will support you to optimise your performance in education or work, help you have successful relationships and support your well-being and resilience.

Who might benefit from coaching?

Professional Success: Coaching can support you to make positive changes in your career, to be more effective and to develop fresh ways of thinking. It can support you to understand and develop your brand, and to grow and develop as a leader.

Personal Growth: The coaching process will help you to refine your skills such as prioritisation, time management, boundary setting, conflict resolution and self-confidence. Coaching will allow you to identify your values and drivers, and through this go on to realise your aspirations.

Executive Function Coaching: I offer bespoke executive function coaching to children, young people and adults. If you are experiencing challenges in areas such as time-management, task initiation and planning and organising, executive function coaching can support you to develop strategies to help manage both these areas of your life and your emotions.

My background

I started my working life as a Chartered Accountant, working in Financial Services for many years before taking a role in Corporate Learning & Development. During this time, I trained as a Coach and Coach Supervisor. I hold coaching accreditations with the ILM and EMCC, and have worked with a wide variety of clients in a coaching capacity. My clients include those in the corporate sector, charitable organisations and schools.

Alongside my coaching work, I am a play and creative arts therapist working with children and young people. Through this work, I recognised a to support children and young people in a coaching capacity and I have undertaken additional study with Connections In Mind to train as an Executive Function coach, accredited to work with both children and adults.

My approach

My fundamental belief is that we all know our own answers. As your coach, I can support you to discover these. My style is compassionate and challenging. I believe change happens in a relationship and I incorporate creative techniques to allow deep insight and change.
